Our Mission
As part of its mission, the RBPCI aims to promote and consolidate:
- Infection prevention and control practices associated with care in Burundi;
- The role of the community in combating antibiotic resistance of microbes;
- The contribution of health authorities to the advancement of this specialty, both nationally and internationally.
Our Vision
Health authorities and training institutions support and invest in ICP practices to reduce the impact of infections associated with care and the pace of antibiotic resistance of microbes to ensure safe health for all.
Our Action
The RBPCI contributes to the advancement of ICP practices in care settings through quality staff through its training, partnerships, and advocacy activities, strengthening leadership in ICP and through its members and targeted projects.
