The Burundian Network for Infection Prevention and Control (RBPCI) is an association created in 2019 by nurses, doctors, laboratory technicians, lawyers, communication and monitoring and evaluation officers, public health officers and people of various skills. This non-profit association is constantly evolving and is working with various partners in the health network to foster cutting-edge expertise based on evidence. RBPCI advocates for advances in infection prevention and control knowledge to reduce the burden of care-associated infections (IAS). The work of the RBPCI is based on the training of healthcare providers, the analysis of IAS and community mobilization for infection prevention.
